With high temperatures and rain in the forecast the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority is warning everyone to be cautious around waterways.
Significant flooding is not expected but based on current forecasts and water levels particularly north of Highway 7 water levels could reach or exceed the banks by tomorrow (thursday) or Friday in some areas.
With flows expected to be high the ABCA wants everyone to be cautious near all waterways as slippery and unstable streambanks, and cold water could create hazardous conditions.
The alert from the ABCA will be in effect until at least Monday March 15th.
