Call it luck of the draw. With COVID-19 forcing cancellation of all Victim Services Huron fundraising events, its 50/50 online raffle has proven a winning replacement. And the third raffle launched with the winner to be announced 10 a.m. March 29.
December’s winner, Amanda Blenkorn of Clinton was floored after winning $5,748. Literally. She used some of the money to redo floors in the home she purchased in 2019.
Deborah Logue ,executive director of Victim Services Huron, says the online raffle is a great way for the organization to raise money. Tickets can be purchased at victimservices.5050.ca at 3 for $5.00, 10 for $10.00 or 60 tickets for $20.00.
