March is a very crucial month for Michelle Franklin, Chief Executive Officer of Epilepsy Southwestern Ontario, and her coworkers, as they try to shine a light on the neurological disorder.
She adds that there is still a stigma surrounding epilepsy, and that people are afraid of the unknown.
Franklin adds the annual spring gala for the organization will be virtual this year, taking place on a very special day. March 26th, on which people wear purple and come to the gala to show their support. It runs from 6:30-8:30 p.m..
