More and more people are now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine.
Huron Perth Public Health has announced that anyone 70 and older (born in 1951 and earlier), Indigenous persons 16 and older, are eligible to be vaccinated.
HPPH is also vaccinating faith leaders who provide end of life care, conduct ceremonies with deceased people, visit people who are unwell at home, and provide pastoral care in hospitals, long-term care homes and other vulnerable settings.
The Province of Ontario also announced that 11 health units including Lambton Public Health will also be taking vaccine appointments for anyone 70 and older.
