The Southwestern Integrated Fibre Technology (SWIFT) project is trucking along.
That means more than 860 Perth County businesses and residences can get their hands on high speed reliable internet.
Now that both the feds and the province have committed up to $1.8 million towards the project, construction to build a fibre optic truck in Perth County will begin this time next year.
The contracts to expand fibre-optic broadband services in Perth County were awarded by SWIFT.
