Premier Doug Ford announced a four week “emergency brake” that essentially shutdown the entire province on Thursday.
A highlight is reducing capacity at shopping locations to 25 percent for retail that doesn’t serve food and 50 percent for retail that does.
myFM spoke with the Exeter BIA Manager Laura Connolly about the impact on local businesses.
myFM spoke with Owner of Thomas H Fine Menswear, Tom Hartai who says since reopening after the last shutdown 25 % is what his business has been operating at.
Hartai says he wants everyone to know that they can shop safely, and businesses are being responsible while offering goods and services.
