It appears municipal beaches along the shoreline could be off-limits for the Victoria Day long weekend.
There have been conversations with several mayors in beach communities about closing down the beaches to prevent people from hopping from one beach to another.
Goderich Mayor John Grace says he has been discussing the issue with the mayors and will be working together to keep their communities safe.
He goes on to say that Goderich’s plan to have vendors along with waterfront will be put off until next year.
The province’s current stay-at-home order is set to expire May 20th, two days before the long weekend.
