An Exeter resident is facing a number of charges after a Police Officer was assaulted.
Huron County OPP officers responded to a call regarding an individual who was failing to abide by a court imposed curfew.
Officers located the suspect and during the arrest, the accused began resisting and assaulted one of the officers.
During a search of the suspect, officers discovered she was in possession of suspected fentanyl.
A 26 year old woman from South Huron has since been charged with Assaulting a Peace Officer, Resisting Arrest, Possession and Failing to Comply with a Probation.
