Lambton region is on track to meet and exceed Ontario’s vaccination target in-time for STEP 2 of reopening July 2nd.
Immunization Task Force says more than 98 thousand doses of COVID vaccine have been jabbed into arms
in Lambton County.
More that 70 percent of adults have been partially inoculated.
Vaccination percentages are lower for 18 plus and children.
As of this week anyone in Lambton County age 65 and older can register for their second dose if they received their first shot on or before May 5th.
This week, the region is expected to deliver 10,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine to residents via fixed site clinics, pharmacies, primary care and the mobile immunization team.
The mobile immunization team is visiting homebound patients, group homes and is supporting three First Nations communities.
