Huron County OPP has added a new secret policing tool.
The OPP along with members of the Coalition for Huron Injury Prevention or CHIP got a look at a tool to help promote safer motor vehicle speed in highly traveled areas.
Constable “Wes Coast” is a life sized two dimensional aluminum cut-out of an officer holding a speed enforcement device.
The purpose is to get drivers to slow down and drive safer.
Municipalities are encouraged to contact the OPP to inquire about using Constable “Wes Coast.”
