A 17 year old is facing charges after allegedly fleeing from a RIDE program.
On July 2nd Anishinabek police were conducting a RIDE at Kettle and Stony Point First Nation, when a vehicle was seen making a U-turn just prior to the checkpoint.
The vehicle fled at a high rate of speed, but police were able to catch up to the teen, and arrest them.
Following the arrest the teen was found to be impaired by drugs which resulted in further charges.
