Seaforth Golf Club celebrated their 60 year anniversary in 2020, but due to the pandemic, they never really got to celebrate, so they are hoping they can do so this year.
The family business opened up in 1960, and has been a part of the community ever since.
Now, Carolanne Doig one of the co-owners of the club said that this year they were calling a mulligan year, which is a golf term used when someone has a bad shot and does a do-over, even though COVID continues to complicate things.
Doig says that for the past 60 years the community had been amazing, and that they have been lucky during COVID as a lot of people have rediscovered golf during the pandemic, bringing more players to their club.
