A new Climate Change Coordinator has been named for all the lower and upper tiers in Perth County.
Amara Kartick who comes from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations has taken on the role.
The position is being funded by a grant of over $110 thousand from the Federation of Canadian Municipalities.
Key focuses will be the completion and implementation of a Perth County Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Reduction Plan.
