Wholesome Pasture is holding a farm tour, all in hopes of collection donations for the Huron County Food Bank.
Lindsay Groot, the co-owner of the Wholesome Pasture said that they wanted to do this because they wanted to give back to the community in any way they can, so they thought that offering farm tours for free, with the hope that people bring donations for the food bank is one way of doing this.
Groot added that they have noticed over the course of the pandemic how people have been more interested in where their food is coming from, which is also another appeal to the tour.
During the tour on July 24th you’ll get to see the different animals, and the way the farm does everything they can to reduce their carbon footprint.
