Summer means we are all spending more time outside, in the grass, out in our gardens, or out for hike and walks. One thing that we should be keeping in mind throughout the summer is ticks.
Jeremy Hogeveen, the vector born disease coordinator at the Middlesex London Health Unit says that ticks can be found anywhere outside.
Once you come in from outside, be sure to check yourself for ticks, and if you find one, you can remove it with tweezers, take a picture and go to etick.ca to find out what tick it is, and monitor the bite.
