Residents in South Huron will notice lower water levels at the MacNaughton Park Dam later this week.
A structural inspection at the Dam is required every five years and it is due to be performed this year.
Starting on August 13th, the drain valve will be opened at the Dam to lower water levels to allow for the inspection, before it’s slowly refilled.
Depending on weather conditions it is expected that it will take a couple weeks for the Dam to refill.
