The province is providing close to $2 million in local funding to help Municipalities in Huron and Bruce County deliver critical services, create longer term-housing solutions and keep people safe.
The funds are to be used to protect homeless shelter staff and residents, add to rent banks, prepare plans for any future outbreaks and build affordable housing.
Huron County will be getting $826,100 while Bruce County will get over $1 million (1,051,200).
