Keeping everyone safe as students and staff head back to the classrooms next week.
That’s the main purpose of the newly released Avon Maitland District School Board Health and Safety protocol document.
The comprehensive 43 page document has a large COVID-19 component which goes over symptoms, when to stay home and guidelines for parents.
AMDSB promoted physical distancing, handwashing, extra cleaning, ventilation and PPE as pillars to keep everyone safe.
The report also talks about the importance of vaccines, about how the board was directed to come up with a Board wide vaccination disclosure policy, and about how unvaccinated staff will be required to participate in rapid testing.
