The MS Bike Ride took place online this year, giving people a few weeks to reach their goal, with a Canada-wide online event on September 18th.
Communities across the country hosted their own bike rides, including one from Grand Bend to London, which raised over $500,000.
The MS Bike Ride set one goal going into the challenge, which started in May, and that was to hit 90,000km, one kilometer for each person in Canada impacted and living with MS.
Nicole Gasior, senior lead of the MS Bike program said that they reached that goal by July, and set a new one.
As of September 28th, the ride has raised just under $3 million, but they are still accepting donations up until October 31st.
