A new project for community members is starting up in South Huron, targeted at well… everyone.
Andrea Loohuizen, Volunteer Coordinator with Noah’s Ark and the Community Table as well as a Member of United Way Perth-Huron South Huron & Area Community Committee said that this project, called the Connection Centre is to help anyone and everyone in the community have access to things like laundry, showers, washrooms, light meals and more.
Over the next three years they are hoping to put in a community garden, collective kitchen program, and early years programming. The goal and the hope is that it breaks down the barriers and builds relationships in the community with everyone.
