South Huron council is doing something other councils couldn’t do…moving forward with recreation updates.
South Huron Council voted in favour of spending $4.5 million for phase one of the South Huron Rec Centre Project.
Mayor George Finch tells us how the money will be spent.
Phase two will be the very expensive upgrade as it will include a walking track, gymnasium and the multipurpose space.
Council also voted in favour of spending up to $2 million on renovations at the Stephen Arena that was nearly closed.
