Police are investigating after a welding machine and supplies were stolen from a jobsite north of Bayfield.
Sometime between 11 PM on October 6th and 6 AM on October 7th, someone went to a cottage property off Cedar Crest Avenue and stole numerous items that were being used for a shoreline erosion project.
Investigators believe a side-by-side utility vehicle was used to haul away the items.
Some of the stolen items include:
· A red 305 Lincoln Ranger gas powered welding machine that has a missing side panel
· A Dewalt 7 inch grinder
· 300 feet of welding cable
· Five 25 litre jerry cans full of fuel
· A large Bessey clamp
· A come along chain with a hand winch
· Two boxes of Lincoln Excalibur welding rods.
