The Huron County Out of the Cold Heart to Home emergency shelter is now open.
The program supports homeless people in the County with space up to 15 people per night.
Out of the Cold offers staff trained in trauma care, substance use, and mental health services, along with a meal for people in need.
The emergency shelter is located at the Lakeshore United Church in Goderich.
Since opening 16 people have been permanently homed through the program with the assistance of the Heart to home Stability Team.
