Brussels Four Winds Barn held their third annual Holiday market and Santa Photos on Sunday, raising money through the Santa photos to give back to the community, all while getting people into the holiday spirit and kids telling Santa what’s on their wish list.
Kaitlyn Pipe, Operations Manager for Four Winds Barn said that this year they had a great turn out, with 38 vendors in the market, and over 200 families come and take a picture with Santa, which cost $10.
They raised $2,810 which will be donated to the Huron County Women’s House, and given in gift cards to women so they can buy Christmas gifts for their kids.
Pipe said that this event came about as a way to give back to those in our community who we may forget at this time of year.
Pipe added that it was important to them that the money stay in the community, and what better way to do that then to give back to kids, while also giving families the chance to get their yearly Santa picture
