Bad Apple Brewing Company in Bluewater has officially gotten the green light to start making and selling their own cider! They have received their Wine Manufacturing and Retail Store license and are now in the process of making it!
Jason Ingram, President of Bad Apple said that there was a rule in place that stopped them from being able to do this in the past, and that was the fact that they didn’t have five acres of cultivated fruit, which is a requirement. But since the pandemic has greatly impacted local winery, the AGCO has made some adjustments.
Ingram says that they are hoping to have cider available in the spring and are starting the process of making it now. So far since they announced this he says that on social media the reaction has been great, and they are looking forward to adding this to their menu.
