Christmas is right around the corner, and with provincial guidelines lifting it seems like this year may feel a little more normal with events to get you in to the holiday spirit.
One thing that is coming back this year in some towns are Santa Claus Parades!
Parkhill is one place that is gearing up for their parade this year, something Chair of the parade, Heather Cadman, says is very exciting.
After getting approval a few weeks ago from council to hold the event, Cadman says that they ready to bring the parade back this year.
Cadman says that this year will be a little different, as they won’t be holding the usual meet and greet with Santa afterwards.
As for floats, you don’t need to register before hand, all you have to do is meet at the arena on McLeod St at 4:30pm.
The parade will start at 5:30pm, then will make its way north down Main St to end at Bethany St.
