It’s a message that is said year round, but it’s really driven home during the holidays – do not get behind the wheel while impaired.
Acting Sgt. Ed Sanchuk is reminding the public that there will be RIDE checks throughout the community, at completely random times, trying to get impaired drivers off the road way.
Sanchuk said it’s important to note that a designated driver is just that – someone designated to drive without having ANY intoxicated substances that night.
