Five suspected opioid related overdoses in December has prompted a warning from Huron Perth Public Health.
The Health Unit advises people to never use substances alone and if someone is overdosing: call 911, give naloxone, and provide medical attention until help arrives.
People are also encouraged to pick up free naloxone kits as they can temporarily reverse an opioid overdose.
