An incident over the weekend has resulted in charges for a Morris-Turnberry man.
Just before midnight on January 22nd, police got a call about a possible impaired driver of a pickup who was driving erratically on Cranbrook Road.
Police arrived and found the vehicle in a ditch, before learning the suspect had fled and was now driving a tractor.
Officers located the tractor and ordered the man onto the ground, and then he drove away.
Police followed and the driver drove into a ditch and into a field, which caused police to contain the area.
The suspect was located on foot running towards Moncrieff Road where he was arrested.
33 year old Donald Williamson has been charged with impaired driving, flight from police and refusal to comply.
