Ontario reported that 11 schools were closed due to high absentees in staff and students on Tuesday.
Locally, the Avon Maitland District School Board Hullett Central Public School in Londesborough reported the highest number at 22.8 percent.
From the Huron Public Catholic Board, Precious Blood in Exeter reported an absentee rate of 22.9 percent.
From the Lambton District School Board, North Lambton Secondary School had an absentee rate of 33.7 percent, while Grand Bend Public School hit 26.5 percent.
And from Thames Valley, HCS Anago in Parkhill hit 30 percent.
