A new study offers information on how widespread the Omicron COVID-19 variant may be in Canada.
The study came from the non-profit Angus Reid Institute and one of the key findings suggests that one in five households have had at least one case of COVID-19 positivity since December 1 2021.
With Omicron appearing to have peaked 54% of Canadians surveyed now believe it is time to remove restrictions and let people manage their own level of risk.
The survey also found that women over the age of 54 were the only age-gender group that disagreed on ending restrictions.
