Due to the wild weather expected over the next few days, the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority has issued a water safety message.
The forecast is calling for rain, ice pellets, and even snow the next couple of days.
The local Conservation Authority says that the rain and melting snow due to higher temperatures could lead to ponding, runoff and minor flooding in some areas.
Everyone is also reminded to avoid shorelines, watercourses and flooded areas as the conditions could be dangerous, and banks could be slippery.
The warning is in effect until Sunday February 20th at noon.
