On March 1st we enter the next step in the re-opening plan for the province, but that doesn’t mean COVID is over, according to Dr. Paula Stewart, a provincial medical officer of health.
The doctor says it means we’re learning to live alongside the virus.
Dr. Stewart says we’re no longer in an emergency situation like we were in March of 2020.
She says we now know what we need to do when it comes to keeping ourselves and other safe and we need to continue doing so. Lifting provincial regulations recognizes those efforts.
