Students in the Sarnia Lambton area have a chance to apply to win $3000 in grants, all while starting their own business this summer.
The Ontario Summer Company Program is a joint program between the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership and the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation, and Trade.
Students provide business applications and can be approved for $1500 in grants to launch as well as mentoring and training programs.
After the program is complete they will get another $1500.
The Ontario Summer Company Program is open to anyone 15-29 who is returning to school in the fall and hasn’t gotten the grant in the past.
