Huron County Economic Development is releasing the results of the six month long Business Retention and Expansion survey.
723 surveys or roughly 21% of the business community participated.
The survey results indicated that local businesses see many advantages of operating in Huron County including quality of life and support for local residents and businesses.
Highlights from the report include 92% of businesses being locally owned and operated, 81% in business for 11 or more years, and 89% of owners lived in Huron County.
