Some very exciting news for Central Huron!
Angela Smith, the Community Improvement Coordinator for Central Huron has won three awards at the Presidents Dinner by the Economic Developers Council for Ontario for two of her projects!
Smith explains the award she won for her project the Back Ally Artist Extravaganza
She also won two awards for her project ‘Huron Student Honey’ which had students come out to a bee yard and learn what it takes to take care of bees why they’re so important for our community.
It’s safe to say she was buzzing with excitement!
That project won the ‘Rural Excellency Award’ and the won the highest award the EDCO gives out, the ‘Lieutenant-Governors’ award!
