Recently, Monte McNaughton, MPP for Lambton-Kent-Middlesex announced $120,000 in joint funding for the final piece of the Kineto Theatre renovations in Forest.
Following several improvements, including linking two heritage buildings together and upgrades to make the facility fully accessible.
This investment is made through the Community, Culture, and Recreation Stream of the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program.
The Government of Ontario is investing almost $40,000 toward the project, while the Government of Canada is contributing $48,000.
Also, McNaughton announced a provincial investment of over $4 million in four projects to improve infrastructure in southwestern Ontario including rehabilitating the Parkhill Main Street Watermain and reconstructing the road above the water main to improve traffic flow, walk-ability, and marketability of the Parkhill district in North Middlesex.
