As myFM has previously reported, to combat speeding issues in the Municipality of South Huron, council has undertaken a pilot project to change speed limits in some areas.
Mayor George Finch told myFM the information will be brought back to council in the fall.
Finch highlights some areas impacted including near the hospital and schools.
The Mayor says for people still worried about speeding it’s important to call the OPP so that targeted enforcement can be done by police.
When asked about community thoughts on the pilot project so far, Finch told myFM that some people in fact want all street speed limits reduced.
