The provincial election is quickly approaching, as voters head to the ballots on June 2nd.
The riding of Huron-Bruce has 8 candidates seeking the spot of MPP, including incumbent PC candidate Lisa Thompson.
myFM spoke with Thompson about why she is the best candidate for the riding.
Thompson says while having a seat in the party she has drawn a lot of interest for the Huron-Bruce riding which in turn has brought investments to the area.
She adds that Premier Doug Ford and her have a great relationship, and the Premier cares about what is happening in the riding.
myFM reached out to all local candidates and only got responses and interviews from the Liberal Party, PC Party, NDP, and New Blue Party.
