Each year 25 thousand more Canadians are diagnosed with Dementia.
Coming up on Saturday May 28th is the annual Walk for Alzheimer’s.
Manager of Fund Development and Communications for the Alzheimers Society of Huron Perth, Erin Dale, tells us the event is happening in a few locations in Huron and Perth Counties.
Dale says the hope is to raise $135 thousand during this year’s event.
Money raised goes towards programs and services for people living with Dementia and their caregivers.
