Calling all high school seniors who are going to College, University or going to school for a trade, myFM has an opportunity for you!
General Manager at Exeter’s myFM, David McAllan, says the Community First Scholarship can be awarded to any senior
To apply, you must record a 1 to 2 minute recording about what community means to YOU.
The dead line is THIS Friday at 7p.m.
To be considered for this scholarship, a student must:
– Be a high school senior in an MBC radio station service area.
– Intend to pursue further studies in College, University or the Trades.
– Complete a personal information section.
– Submit a 1-minute to 2-minute recording (your voice) sharing your thoughts on “WhatCommunity means to you”.
– The closing line of the recording should be “My name is (name). That’s what Community means to me”
– Audio and Application must be received by June 3rd at 7pm (est).
The Scholarship will be awarded based on the content of the audio portion of the application. You can record your message on your phone recorder app, or as a video.
