Over 14 thousand traffic charges were laid during Canada Road Safety Week.
The campaign ran from June 25th until July 3rd and focused on the big 4 casual factors in collisions including impaired driving, distracted driving, aggressive driving, and lack of seatbelts.
In Perth County, 312 charges were laid including 200 alone for speeding.
In addition, four drivers were charged with impaired driving, and police investigated 17 collisions.
