COVID-19 really impacted local businesses in rural Ontario.
The Four County Labour Market Planning Board released a report analyzing business counts between 2020 and 2021 when lockdowns were still taking place.
The data shows that Huron County suffered 1065 net decreases.
Grey County also saw decreases but only 427.
Good news came from Perth County and Bruce County both saw increases.
Perth gained 457, while Bruce added 1118.
