Police have arrested one of two people involved in a local robbery.
On July 15th police were called just before 4 AM after two suspects stole an ATV on Bronson Line near Mount Carmel.
The family at the home was awoken by the sound of the vehicle’s engine starting up, so they headed to the garage where they encountered two masked suspects, who then threatened them with a knife.
One suspect took off on the ATV while the other left on foot.
Multiple police units began searching the area, before locating it in Parkhill and arresting a man.
30-year-old Leslie Dentelbeck from Quinte West is now facing charges for robbery with a weapon, disguise with intent, theft, impaired driving, and failure to comply.
The other suspect has not been located at this time, so police are asking anyone with any information to call them or Crime Stoppers.
