Perth County Ontario Provincial Police stopped a drinking and driving event.
on August 23rd, at about 9:15pm, OPP pulled over a driver on Huron Road in Perth East after it they were recorded driving above the posted 80km/h zone.
OPP spoke to the driver and determined the 41-year-old of Orangeville had been drinking. An approved screening device was used and the driver was placed under arrest and brought into the detachment for further testing.
As a result, a 3 day licence suspension. Don’t drink and drive.
