Day of Dreams returns to Western Fair on September 14th for children with special-needs, and their families.
The tailored environment takes the busy bustle of a traditional day at the fair down. Manageable sights, sounds, smells and no crowds.
There is a free lunch that is included with admission, rides and entertainment.
Kids aged three to twelve will have the opportunity to experience Kiddyland midway rides and the best acts the fair has to offer.
Day of Dreams has a new location this year, it will be inside the Community Pavilion with attendees entering through the Gateway between the Sports Centre and the Agriplex.
Kiddyland Midway rides will operate in the morning, followed by lunch in the Community Pavilion, and entertainment and animals will be offered inside and out, in various new locations on the south side of the fairgrounds, as part of the Western Fair’s new layout. Tons of free parking will be available on the main lot at Rectory and Florence Streets.
Application forms for families who feel their child would enjoy this opportunity to see the Western Fair at their own pace can find it at the Fair website ‘westernfair.ca’. Only 500 spots are available and spots are filling fast.
