Happening October 1st is the Ontario Provincial Police’s recruitment day across Ontario.
This years theme is ‘A Day in the Life’ and will showcase many of the career opportunities that empower our members to make a difference each day.
The event will start at 8:30 am at the Lambton OPP Detachment.
There are hundreds of members getting ready for retirement in the next few years, so there’s no better time to apply than now! Whether you are interested in becoming a police officer, auxiliary member (volunteer) or working in a civilian role, the OPP has a job opportunity for you.
Some topics covered during the day will include:
Application Process,
Physical Fitness,
A Q&A session with the OPP’s newest recruits,
Northern Duration Postings,
Provincial Communications Centre – Call takers and dispatchers,
Virtual Ride-Along with an officer,
The OPP Auxiliary program and,
Specialty units within the OPP.
Event location is 4224 oil Heritage Road, Petrolia, Ontario.
