Hunting season in upon us and with that still comes the possibility of getting bit by a tick.
Public Health Inspector Kim McCann says tick love the fall weather and remember to do a tick check.
Using an insect repellant containing DEET along with putting your clothing in a hot dryer after hunting are a couple of good ways to keep ticks away.
McCann adds if you do get bit by a tick, get medical attention as soon as possible.
