An OPP cruiser at the London detachment off Exeter Road.
Huron OPP had a very eventful day the other week.
A drug bust took place and quite a few people have been charged, says Huron OPP Media Relations Officer Jamie Stanley.
111 charges were laid between the 26 people.
Stanley reminds everyone that if you know someone who is using, provide support and offer help.
He also reminds everyone that is someone is overdosing, don’t be afraid to call emergency services.
That individual is protected under legislation to not be charged.
Stanley says there is a drug concern in every community and there are investigations happening all the time.
He says the biggest drugs they have a problem with in Huron is Methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl.
He also says there is issues with ecstasy and prescription drugs being sold illegally.
Stanley encourages anyone who knows anything about any drugs in the area to contact police or crime stoppers anonymously (1-800-222-tips (8477)).
