The United Way is well on their way to reaching their campaign goal for the annual fundraising campaign.
Director of Resource Development & Communications, Susan Faber tells myFM the campaign has hit the 20 percent mark.
Faber says the funds raised go towards unignorable issues.
Currently there are 45 living wage employers in Huron and Perth County.
Last year 98 people in Southern Huron used the United Ways Urgent Needs Fund for immediate help with pressing needs, and 66 youth accessed the YMCA of South Western Ontario’s Youth Recreation & Sports program.
